Privacy for field data, scans, photos, and estimates.
Effective May 26, 2026. BluMatrix is operated by Blue Collar Pro. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about your data.
Information we collect
When you use BluMatrix, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, business profile details, and settings you choose in the app.
We collect the content you create or upload, including LiDAR scan metadata and files, room names, floor plan reports, photos, photo notes, generated photo reports, project descriptions, clients or contacts you enter, estimates, sent estimate records, approval or change-request activity, and attached PDFs or images.
We also collect operational information such as device identifiers needed for push notifications, app version, request logs, IP address, diagnostic events, and payment entitlement records. Apple handles App Store payments; BluMatrix does not receive your full card number.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the app, sync your work across devices, generate reports and estimates, process export access, send notifications you request, deliver hosted estimate previews, improve reliability, protect accounts, and respond to support requests.
AI processing
BluMatrix can use AI services to label evidence photos, summarize field notes, draft estimate scopes, and help organize pricing-backed estimates. When you request those features, relevant project text, photos, reports, or attachments may be sent to service providers that process the data on our behalf.
Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure and service providers for authentication, cloud hosting, object storage, email delivery, push notifications, payment entitlement verification, AI processing, and analytics or diagnostics. These providers are used only to operate BluMatrix and support the services you request.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data when you choose to send an estimate, share a report, use a hosted preview link, ask for support, or when required to operate the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and project data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain billing and audit records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and preserve security. You can delete your account from within BluMatrix. Account deletion removes account-linked app data according to the in-app deletion flow and our operational retention needs.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as authenticated access, encrypted transport, protected storage, and scoped cloud object access. No system is perfect, but we work to keep contractor, client, scan, photo, and estimate data protected.
Your choices
You can manage app permissions such as camera, photos, notifications, and location-related system prompts in iOS Settings. You can also edit or delete projects and account data inside the app where available.
Children
BluMatrix is intended for contractors and business users. It is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as BluMatrix evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date and keep the policy publicly available.
